【Background】

The 《'Healthy China 2030' Planning Outline》 clearly states that by 2030, the multi-level universal medical security system supplemented by basic medical insurance as the main body and other forms of supplementary insurance and commercial health insurance will mature. The document encourages the development of health insurance products related to health management services, and further emphasizes the role of commercial insurance in a multi-level medical security system.

In response to the《 'Healthy China 2030' Planning Outline》, the State Council issued the 《Opinions on Implementing Healthy China Action》 in July 2019, and proposed and determined to implement the Healthy China Action with 'people's health' as the center. The State Council’s opinion on the implementation of the Healthy China Action is an important programmatic policy to promote the development of China's medical and health industry after “HealthyChina 2030”.

In this context, the 5th China Health Insurance Development Forum 2020, with the theme of “Adding Value to Health Insurance, the Driving Force for a Healthy China”, aims to continue to discuss technology with the health insurance industry leaders under the Healthy China Strategy. The innovation of commercial health insurance can be combined to build a new health insurance system linked to “medical insurance and health care”!
