Zheng Hongfeng is the founder and CEO of VariFlight, who is ultimately responsible for corporate strategic planning and the management of the day-to-day operations.

 

Zheng started his civil aviation career in 1996 and created CARNOC.com (Civil Aviation Resource Net of China) in 1999, which has been the largest comprehensive civil aviation information platform in China since then. Almost all Chinese civil aviation personnel are aware of CARNOC.com with approximately one in every five following CARNOC.com in a long-term manner.

 

In 2005, Zheng established VariFlight and received his master degree in business administration at USTC the next year. At VariFlight, data is fundamental to everything we do. VariFlight started aviation data service in 2007 and released the first version of VariFlight mobile application in 2009. Having almost a decade of expertise, VariFlight today is a leading provider of flight status data, with full coverage of domestic flight status and as high as 84 percent of international flights. VariFlight’s data is used by over 300 million of travelers and thousands of class-leading businesses around the world. VariFlight has already become one of the most valuable technology brands in China.
