Don Chan is the Managing Director Asia of IAA-Advisory Associates which provides specialized advisory services in leasing and asset finance in the areas of strategy and planning, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, vendor and captive finance, turnaround and restructures, international expansion and funding strategies. His clients include CITIC Capital, John Deere Financial Leasing, Shenzhen Energy, Gold Wind Technologies, STX Shipping (Korea), Ecapital Financial Leasing, National Australia Bank and Carnival International (HK listed Co.). 

Don is a very experienced General Manager and a seasoned finance and treasury executive with more than 30 years’ experience in private equity, global leasing, supply chains, and structured finance in the US, Pan Asia and China. Don has in-depth understanding of Chinese regulatory approval processes, lease and factoring documentation, accounting and taxation, the credit environment and lending culture.

Don is a Certified Public Accountant in U.S. and Hong Kong. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Baruch College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from New York University.
