Dr. Yuqiang Wang：The founder, President & CEO of Guangzhou Magpie Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (MPI), Dr. Yuqiang Wang has >20 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D in the US and China. Before founding MPI, Dr. Wang was appointed Dean of Jinan University College of Pharmacy from 2005 to 2011. Prior to coming back to China in 2005, he was Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Panorama Research, Inc., a biotech company in Silicon Valley in the US. Dr. Wang was a member of the original team that developed the blockbuster anti-Alzheimer’s drug Memantine. Dr. Wang received his PhD at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and did his post-doc. at Yale.
