Mr. Alex Wu joined JW Therapeutics on September 8, 2020, as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and is in charge of the overall commercial function and operations.  Mr. Wu has been in the healthcare industry for 26 years. Before joining JW Therapeutics, Mr. Wu was an Assistant Vice President (AVP) and General Manager of Hospital Specialty Business in MSD China. Prior to that, he has worked in Baxter China, Xian Janssen, and Danone China. During his tenure, he has achieved the following outstanding results: Led the first region to launch Cozaar and made it a market leader; Accelerated the growth of Proscar in the Chinese market to surpass both UK and US markets to be the No.1 in MSD globally; Built a win-win partnership with the Ministry of Health (now known as the National Health Commission of the PRC) to promote the peritoneal dialysis (PD) therapy together in China, and turned around Baxter China’s hospital products (HP) business into a profitable and sustainable one.   

Mr. Wu received his Bachelor’s degree in Medical Analysis from China Pharmaceutical University and an EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) degree from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
