Uematsu Hisataka has been President of Yokohama Port Corporation since 1st July 2024.

He started his career with the City of Yokohama in 1986. After 2011 he served consecutively as Chief Executive,Deputy Director,General Manager of Logistics Management,and General Manager of Yamashita Pier Redevelopment Coordination Office in the Port & Harbor Bureau.

Before joining YPC, he served as the vice president of Yokohama Kawasaki International Corporation for three years.
