Graduated from Department of clinical medicine of Shanghai Second Medical University, Jeffery received a master's degree in medicine.

After graduating, he once worked in General Surgery Department of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital and then have worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years.

Since 2004, he created Shanghai ROMIT Healthcare Consulting Co., Ltd. and has been serving as a market advisory dedicated to the medical and health field. At the same time, he took the lead in the introduction of chronic disease management system with the core of professional medical call center, which led the application of chronic disease management in China, and extended to the pharmaceutical industry and health insurance industry.

The year 2012 witnessed the company’s inclusion to Sinopharm Group Co., Ltd. led by Jeffery, General Manager of Sinopharm Health Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. He focused on innovation, covering medicine electronic marketing, DTC and medical electronic commerce.

He joined Ali Health Technology Co., Ltd. in October 2014 as Vice President in charge of healthcare and insurance. During his tenure, he created mobile medical projects like the Ali online hospital, YiDieGu - a personal service management platform designed for doctors and Didi Doctor.

In May 2016, he joined the Ping An Group and was responsible for Health Data Platform - health cloud of the Group.

In December 2016, he served as deputy general manager of Ping An Medical and Healthcare Management Co., Ltd. and took charge of several strategic projects, including Social-benefits & Commercial Insurance Platform, Health Cloud and City Note.
