Griffin Peng is director of Alibaba B2B's Strategic Growth Unit, leading payment andsupply
chain finance for B2B business. Griffin joined Alibaba in 2011, served in Alipay’s International
Business Unit and Aliexpress.com. During his seven years with Alibaba and Alipay, Griffin
played a role as head of Aliexpress marketing and business development, Alipay regional head
(Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and Russia), building up Aliexpress / Alipay’s overseas
business and payment system including local e-wallet and cross-border trade and retail
between China and global regions. Before joining Alipay, Griffin worked at several international
and Chinese banks, thereby accumulating a wealth of experience in credit card payment and
e-channelsettlement.
