Mr. Chen is currently the Communist Party Committee Member and Chief Investment Officer of the China Merchants Life Insurance Co., Ltd (“CMLI”). Prior to CMLI, Mr. Chen worked for China Post Life Insurance Co., Ltd as Chief Investment Officer and managed over 80 Billion Yuan insurance funds. Before that, Mr. Chen also worked for Taikang Asset Management Co., LTD (“TKAMC”) first as Chief Marketing Officer, then as Chief Products Officer, Managing Director, Member of Executive Management Committee and Vice President of Product Committee. In addition, Mr. Chen has held management positions in various financial institutions and regulators, including ICBC headquarter, China Securities Regulatory Commission and Huaxia Bank headquarter. Until now, Mr. Chen owned over 17 years’ rich experience in Marketing, Investment and Management. During his career, he has unique insights in Banking, Securities, Funds and Insurances industry. Meanwhile, he has accumulated lots of large team management experience and established solid professional foundation.
