Dr. Jinzhang Feng is the president of AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd., and the chief designer of the wide body aircraft engine program. He is an expert in the “Thousand Talents Program” of China. Previously he was a principal scientist, and the follow of aerodynamics of United Technologies Research Center (UTRC), and the general manager of UTRC China. He is an expert in managing long-term R&D programs and short-term high intensity critical technology projects. He has broad experiences in computational fluid dynamics, aero acoustics, aero-elasticity, combustion instability and turbomachinery design and analyses. He is a recipient of the prestigious “Friendship Award” of the Chinese government in 2014.
